Economic Development Adviser for Toi-EDA

Toi-EDA has engaged the services of John Galbraith as economic development adviser on a part time basis. Toi-EDA manager Mary Hermanson said she was delighted to have John Galbraith as a member of the Toi-EDA team and he brought a wealth of experience to the organisation.

John has a background in engineering, forestry and wood processing having been Chief Executive of CHH Tasman Kawerau and Viking Timber Management. He has also been a Business in the Community mentor for three years so understands the problems facing small businesses as well as large.

John is chairman of the Waterwheel Trust which is developing a heritage museum at a new site in Kawerau. John will be working for Toi-EDA on transport and logistics and forestry related projects.
