David has worked as a CEO and board director in the UK, Australia, Indonesia and New Zealand.  He is a Chartered Director with expertise in strategy development, business transformation and brand marketing

He has led advertising agencies, a state-owned enterprise, a tertiary institution and entrepreneurial businesses. He has broad industry experience and connections across the commercial, not-for-profit and government sectors. 
 
Current governance roles include Chair of Trust Horizon, Synapsys, Dev Academy Aotearoa and Brightstar; Trustee of Eastbay REAP, the Bay of Plenty Education Trust, and he is a director of the board of the Institute of Directors.
