Introducing Te Puawaitanga O Tē Rangitahi

At Toi EDA, we are thrilled to announce the unveiling of a remarkable project that pays tribute to the exceptional rangatahi (youth) of the Eastern Bay of Plenty. Introducing "Te Puawaitanga O Tē Rangitahi," a special installation that celebrates young individuals who go above and beyond in their schools, communities, and workplaces. This visionary project, named by the late Louis Rāpihana, holds immense significance in fostering community engagement and showcasing the immense talent of our region.

As an economic development agency, we firmly believe in investing in our future workforce and nurturing strong leadership capabilities. Te Puawaitanga O Tē Rangitahi represents a powerful initiative that not only recognizes rangatahi excellence but also aims to inspire others to set and exceed expectations in all aspects of their lives.

The official unveiling of Te Puawaitanga O Tē Rangitahi took place at New World Whakatāne, where the inaugural installation has been proudly displayed. We are excited to expand this concept to other locations in Kawerau and Ōpōtiki in the near future, ensuring that the message of empowerment and celebration reaches all corners of the Eastern Bay.

At the core of Te Puawaitanga O Tē Rangitahi is the spirit of community engagement. The installation serves as a powerful reminder of the immense potential and talent possessed by our rangatahi. It is a testament to the Eastern Bay of Plenty's commitment to fostering a supportive and thriving environment for its youth.

We would like to extend a massive shoutout and heartfelt appreciation to Nancy Anderson, whose dedication and tireless efforts have brought Te Puawaitanga O Tē Rangitahi to life. Her vision and passion for empowering the youth of our region have been instrumental in making this project a reality. Nancy's hard work and commitment to community development have not gone unnoticed, and we are grateful for her invaluable contributions.

Te Puawaitanga O Tē Rangitahi holds the promise of a brighter and more prosperous future for the Eastern Bay of Plenty. By acknowledging and celebrating the achievements of our rangatahi, we aim to foster a greater sense of optimism and motivation in our communities.
